ANNOUNCEMENT: FACT2 invites you to CIT 2012! Stony Brook University will host CIT 2012, The Power of Connections, May 29 to June 1 with Keynote Speaker George Siemens.

George Siemens is a writer, theorist, speaker, and researcher on learning, networks, technology, analytics and visualization, openness, and organizational effectiveness in digital environments.

The Faculty Advisory Council on Teaching and Technology (FACT2) was first established in 1986 to give SUNY faculty and staff access to professional development to sustain educational leadership in service to the citizens and institutions of the State of New York.

Each SUNY campus is invited to appoint up to two representatives (one from faculty ranks, another from instructional support staff) to FACT2 governance. The campus representatives interact with a Council that meets regularly with the SUNY Provost.

Objectives

The overall objectives of the SUNY FACT2 Advisory Council are to:
